pleasant morning for a run...nice breeze...ran out to merkle on scenic road...took side trails once over the bridge...ran up to merkle hq with a field detour...did a loop on the field road...stopped briefly to give a driver directions...saw a few birdwathcers out and about...ran steady throughout...9:45 per mile pace for first two miles...finish at 9:22 pace...felt good...
