Never hurts to strap on the vapes when you have had a few days in a row of feeling bleh, but want a good workout. I was trying not to put too much pressure on this one going into it honestly, because of how bad I was feeling the last few days. After about 4 miles I kind of just said “oh well it’s not really happening today” but wanted to make it steady at least so I felt like I got some quality in. Held 6:30s for a few miles and then just kind of found myself picking up the cadence to the point where I was progressing nicely. Last few miles were 6:10, 5:45, and then was between 5:40 and 5:30 for most of the last mile before I realized I was definitely reaching beyond what was sustainable given the fatigue on my legs. Made it to the bottom of the bridge outside of Knoch before I chilled out. Very happy with today!
