The plan was to do 6 x 800m @ 5k-10k pace on alternating up and downhill or on rolling hills. Instead I opted to run up one side of Pipeline, then back down the other. The first side, heading into the park had a bit shorter of an up then a longer down. I alternated directions each time, really trying to hammer it on the downhills.. Those were really tough, and it shows in the 3rd and 4th repeats. Once I finished the 4th, I knew I could get through it, but those last 2 were still really tough. It helped that someone was chasing me on #5. I surprised I didn't really hammer it on the last one, especially the final downhill. This will be interesting tomorrow.
