Five Point of Life Marathon in Gainesville FL! I am now halfway done with the 50 states! And I am happy to get there back in my old hometown. The race wasn't much to speak of -- only about 150 marathoners, along with 800-900 half marathoners. But it was fun to run a race here. I am pleased with the time of 4:06. I faded a bit in the second half, but not too bad. I am happy that I never had a mile slower than 10 minutes, although that barely held true near the end. The weather is quite chilly for Florida (temp was 34 at the start), but that made it quite pleasant for running.
