Conn open 8k. Took a risk this week and took the lead and tried to hold it for as long as possible. Had the solo lead for about 1k then a Williams kid caught up. An MIT kid joined just after the mile and took the lead with the Williams kid. I put in another surge right around 2k to take the lead back but lost it a little before 3k when a large MIT pack caught up. Hung onto the top group until about 4k then started to fall back a bit. Really payed the price for the aggressive start the last 1.5 miles and didn't dig as deep at the end as I did at Pau Short. Overall happy with how this race went, probably could have run a better time going out more conservative but this seemed like a good race to just send it and see what happens.
