Rust buster of a race (first race in 5 months)... Got out hard and struggled to hold a good position the first 2k kinda getting jostled around. Ran just behind a big pack of RPI runners with the intention of closing the gap but wasn't able to get it done today.
Positives from the race: technically a 6k PR, also feel like I left it all out there and had nothing left after finishing
What I want to improve on: Stomach was bothering me 12hrs before the race through the race. Didn't change any nutrition so not sure why but hopefully that was a 1 time thing. Kinda front loaded mileage this week and that tired my legs out going into the race, going to treat mileage as a range and not be so concerned with hitting the number.
