3 mile race at the new course at Leroy oaks (may have actually been up to 100m more than 3 miles, but I'll just log it as 3). Got out ok, but took me until the half mile to catch Jeevan and Trever. Hit the mile in 5:32 (all splits are pieced together because I didn't hit my watch). Really enjoyed the nice downhill in mile 2. Jeevan pushed the uphills and I pushed the downhills. Hit the 2 mile in ~11:33 (6:00 split) and finally caught Joey, who I had been chasing all day, and he almost immediately dropped me. Worked hard on the uphill, was caught by Chris, and dropped. Caught a lot of people form the white fence to the finish. Really pushed the last downhill, and fought Zheng to the line. Last mile was around 5:58. Really happy with how my race went today. My time wasn't great, but I'm not to concerned about that with this course. Should be out of orange come monday.
