Same fartlek as last monday. 1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1 (1 mile, 2 mile, 3 mile, tempo and back down) with equal rest. Probably not the greatest workout for this point in the year, but I couldn't think of anything else. Felt really terrible. Cramped up in the second tempo portion and had to split it into 2x2 minute. Also took more rest after the second tempo and paused my watch and stood for a few seconds to regain my composure. First time I've been forced to do something like that in a while. I think the heat, humidity, dehydration and fatigue all combined to create a terrible day. Really rough, but got some ok work in so all will be ok.
