Pretty disappointing effort today. Got out in about 1:23 which wasn't bad then slowed down to 2:57 at the 800 and got through the 1200 in 4:35. Wasn't really hurting too much and ran a 1:24 last lap to finish in 5:59. I feel like I'm in at least 5:50 shape so not real happy. I think I was in the XC mentality of starting fast and settling in a little, but you can;t settle in in a mile. Sub 6 though so not too bad.
