4x1200 @ 5k pace (?) With 3-3:30 rest. Split: 4:13.1, :03.2, :02.1, :01.4 (average of 4:04.94 and 5:28.5 pace). Haven't done an interval workout on the track in forever, but it is September so I figured now is the time to start if I want to race well in November. First rep was terribly slow, I'm not used to this pace and I was alone so I just didn't push myself as much as I needed to. Next 3 were solid, I locked into a manageable pace and got faster every rep. Good workout overall. Got some fast work in for the first time in awhile. Legs have no speed right now, but I think my mileage will help me get sharpened up pretty quickly. Did the same workout last December and I averaged almost 7 seconds faster today despite being less sharp.
