5x500m trying to hit the 400 @ PR + 5-10 and then close the last 100 fast. 5 minute walking rest. Split: 1:25, :26.4, :26.7, :25.8, :26.7 for an average of 1:26.12. Hit the 400 around 69 for all of these. Very difficult workout, was hurting by the first 100 of the first one and it only got worse from there. I hate this kind of stuff, but I know it will help at the end of races when it counts. I feel for the guys who tried to do this workout alone, that would suck.
