Hot. Humid. Sweet relief was found when a breeze would blow down the trail and shake last night's rain out of the trees and onto me.
There were slugs everywhere. I must have seen something like 5 squirrels all chilling on the side of the path, eating.... whatever stuff squirrels eat.
Odd sighting of the day: 1 fish head in the middle of the path, not even close to the water.
