Well, I think I accidentally just tied or beat my personal record. Under the circumstances, that's pretty great!
I accidentally left my heart rate monitor at home this morning, and so decided simply to go out and run this as though I were not holding back. After a few miles, that turned into seeing how fast I could finish. Given that I am not well rested, it is about 70°, with very high relative humidity, and I certainly haven't been doing a taper in preparation for a race, I am exceptionally pleased with how that turned out. I think my goal of having an official time in the low 1:27 range come November is reasonable. Huzzah!
