anchor leg 1600m. Noah(3:17) sat for like 900m and then blew everyone out of the water to hand off to Sam Veenstra(53?), who maintained his 15m lead over everyone, who handed off to DTP(2:01), who handed off to me with that same 15m lead. I ran through 800 in 2:16, and like 300 in the Hope kid made up the gap, which put a major toll on his legs and the Olivet guy made it up over a longer period, but they still had to run like 4 seconds faster just to pull even with me. I heard all of the hope fans and olivet fans yelling for them to sit on me, and I was fine with it because I could still run within myself and put them out on the line. They passed me (mistake on my part) on the outside and inside and I just made sure I was still hanging with them. with 200 to go I was about to move to pass them, and I saw them like tripping over each other so I kinda backed off and not go 3 wide on the turn if one of them was gonna get pushed wayyy wide. I then after the curve made the move to beat them to the corner, and dug for home. I know they said to go out into lane 3 to finish, but i was not about to move wide if I thought it would open me up to getting passed.
