4x1200(800) averaging around 4:24 or 5:53/mi. pace, which is just faster than Daniels' VDOT 54. I think this was my best 1200 workout ever, a huge advance over last week. Running fast felt super smooth, so that I felt like I was holding way back at that pace for the first two intervals, and I never felt like I was running really hard. I should be able to run this workout in the 5:40's next time if I allow myself to recover from Pike's Peek properly first.
