Notes

7:05 average through 17 miles, then 2 mile cool down. Gels beforehand and at miles 4.5, 9.5, and 13.5. Was supposed to go 18-19 miles, pushing 3 miles from 15-17 at 6:40-50 pace. From the beginning I felt super strong, presumably from the extra rest this week. I never really got tired and just gradually got faster the entire time, even though I again started faster than before. This just naturally resulted in my getting under 6:50 already by mile 14, so I ended up running 4 miles under 6:50. I could have run them faster or run further too. Today I just had endless power. Only in mile 17 did I start thinking about the way things hurt at the end of a marathon.
