.5M (2:00), 3 x [1.5M (3:00)]. Wore VFs because my achilles have been a bit achy lately, presumably adjusting to the firmer Puma Elites. Interestingly, the VFs felt more forgiving but not faster. Last Wednesday, wearing the Pumas, my left foot kicked my right calf enough to leave an abrasion. I thought that was because the shoes were new. Today the same thing happened, and afterwards I realized that my left shoe had blood smeared on it. I don't know if whatever causes that is worse with VFs or if the skin was simply already broken from last week. Anyway, I need to double down (after Rehoboth) on the external hip rotator exercises. Also, I suspect that my persistent right hip tightness might at least have something to do with my right adductor. Who knows whether that also might contribute to the calf kicking thing?
