2 x 2 miles (4 min.) T in 6:22 and 6:15, averaging 6:19. I foolishly expected to run faster, but actually this is good for my first 2 mile tempos. It took me a while to get going, but 6:15 pace felt inevitable all through the second interval. My stomach hurt progressively more during the second interval, though. I should be able to tighten the screws on tempo pace going forward. Too tired for exercises afterwards.
