Plan was 18-20 miles pushing miles 16-18 at 6:40-50 pace. I felt good and started a little faster, or less slow, than usual, and squeezed it down gradually from there so that there wasn't a very big jump down to the pace of the push miles. So those felt smoother than usual even though I was tired, of course. Gels before starting, at 7.5, 10.5, and almost 14 left my stomach feeling a little uncomfortable by the push miles, but not so bad. I was sweating a lot too because it's still so warm here. But I didn't really have much trouble finishing it out. This run, and the entire week, went so well that I didn't bother doing any easy jogging after 18 miles, though. I'm feeling quite good and don't want to push things too far.
