CUA track

Notes

Planned 3x1mile with 3 min rest. But it was so damn hot and humid that I did this instead:

1x1mile @ 6:04

(4 min rest including 400m recovery jog)

2x800m @ 6:13/mile pace

(4 min rest between each including 400m recovery jogs)

1x400m @ 5:30/mile pace

That's the last time I use the CUA track. As with most things at CUA, it's not even well maintained - it's not maintained at all. And it's teeming with kids at some kind of summer camp with no visible supervision. They were running all over the track, across it, on it in the wrong direction, throwing balls, drinking my water, etc. I'll either use the metro trail or drive to west potomac park in the future.
