2 x 1200m I (800m E) without stopping. I pace turned out to be around 4:24-5 for 1200m or 5:55/mi. My goal was really only to run under 6:00/mi. pace. I also was planning to do 3 intervals, but after the second one I decided that another was unnecessary on my first time running on the track in months and with an 8k race this coming weekend. I really only needed to get a little jolt of semi-speed without a lot of exertion. The pace felt slow. My hip was fine, though it took a while to loosen up. But something is tight in my left lower calf.
