2GP, 2T, 2GP. Stopped briefly at halfway, as planned. This is the run I failed at last time, but got it this time. Similar conditions, except a bit more bearable because there was some wind. Concentrating on form helped. I think I tend to overstride, so I tried to reel my stride in and keep it tight, while using my arms and upper body more to power me along. When I managed that for a while, I often looked at my watch and found that I had been running faster than I thought.
Next tempo run should be the same but without the rest at midway. Eliminate that. Then lengthen it.
