3 easy, 2x2miles, 2 easy. Averages of the 2 mile tempo intervals: 1st 6:19, 2nd 6:23, overall 6:21. That's about right for VDOT 55, depending on which part of Daniels' book you look at. The second one was much harder than the first, which I think I may have run too fast. But I'm not really sure how hard I'm supposed to run these. During the second one I was worried that I was running too hard, though maybe only for this early in my training cycle, if at all. I guess tomorrow will tell. I took off yesterday because the cold got its grip on me again. My energy still feels a bit low today, but I think I've shaken it off for a third time. No muscle problems today. It was really windy but somehow it wasn't a big problem. There was some high school-looking track team practicing on the track, getting in my way, and drinking my water. That was more problematic than the wind.
