1.25 warm up, 8 between 6:40 and 7 as I nervously watched the thunderstorm roll along the north horizon hoping (against my better judgement) that it would hold off - it did until mile 6 of the tempo, then .25 walking, and 1.5 cooldown in the pouring rain. Lighter rain than Monday (barely), but still pretty wet.
Had a gu at the turnaround (5.25) - I was going to try to turn around at the road, but hit 5.25 and simultaneously felt (a) a heavy wind (b) a spattering of rain and (c) yet more lightning. So that's fun times.
