Man I like these shoes for track days. I was planning on retiring these about two weeks ago, but I've had three solid workouts in them since and they still feel good. They are definitely track shoes though, because they now have very little cushioning.

The workout was hard, but very doable. 5 by mile at 5:16 pace, 4 minutes recovery. We ended up aiming for 5:20 pace because the splits are easy and partly the wind. Additionally, Brendan was hurting on the first few. I lead the first one solo, then we rotated, which worked mostly. I had a few problems with the passing because I like to get into a rhythm, but at the same time, the passing broke it up nicely. Good workout, but 5 hours after it, I feel like I could have gone faster.

EDIT: After looking at times, we were pretty slow overall.
