MSLR today - solid run, but a little shorter than I had originally hoped. That said, it was also super sketchy with regards to the weather. 20 MPH winds are no good and the local soccer team cancelled their match for tonight, so more distance was not in the cards. Started with Matt and Heather, then turned south in Monona to finish the lake loop with Matt and slowed WAY down. It's nice to run with the group, but Heather is really quick and that's not ideal for what I'm aiming to do.

Loop was good, if hard to follow. Started at the Regent Panera, then up through campus to the start of the Madison mini, then across the isthmus to the park at mile 22 of the Madison Marathon, then Capital City trail out by Garver all the way to Cottage Grove road, then south in Monona to finish the lake loop; which we did by taking the flat shortcut. John Nolan was really bad with regards to the wind, so I didn't want to go solo at the 19 mile turn off. Also, I only sort of knew the planned route for the 19, so keeping this a little short wasn't awful. I got up to 15 by a short out and back to the underpass on the SW Commuter path.

If I keep saying this is a mild down week, eventually I'll believe it. Even though there's a chance my mileage is higher this week than last week. So... words =/= actions? Yeah, let's go with that.
