Moved the workout from Wednesday to today and then aimed a little faster. Ended up with 1 mile warmup, 10 @ 6:40ish pace, the rest cooldown. 6:40 pace is a little harder and I'm not sure that I had 11 at this pace on the loop that I was planning with the wind. Less wind and I think I'm totally fine - I was okay when I wasn't directly into the wind, which strong from the east and south. A better choice for today was probably out and back toward McFarland, but water under the bridge.
The original plan was 14 Plush Washingtons, but that was dicey once I got close to the Veloround, since the wind was picking up. I turned toward the Beltline, but turned back at the road before 18/151. I'm glad that I did because I would have been struggling badly over the Beltline and through the north neighborhood. I think that would have meant I would have slowed down much more and been noticeably worse.
