Notes

Goal on week - 45

So, a recap:

1) This is the longest run for me since the Madison Marathon in Nov 2014.

2) According to my watch, I ran a 1:41:17 half marathon at some point in this run. Note - that's faster than last year's Madison Mini, which was a post Nov 2014 PR.

3) I didn't bring water on this run because I'm dumb. Well, no, I didn't want to hand carry a water bottle for 18 miles, which makes sense. However, with the cold snap, none of the bubblers are on. So no water.

4) Did have two GUs available. Had the Mint Chocolate one at mile 6-7, didn't finish the Toasted Marshmallow one because of the aforementioned lack of water.

5) Overall, this felt okay, but I did take two walk breaks, 3 minutes total. Again, if I had water, I do think I would have been golden for this run.

Still pretty happy overall with this run though. It was chilly at the start, but I warmed up after about two miles. I finished and was tanked, but about 45 minutes post-run and post-shower, I felt good. Tired, but not completely destroyed.
