Huh, I never scrawled down my thoughts. Let's see what I can remember (12/10)
1) PR! Wait, what??
2) Yes, this race was a PR for me if we don't count UMass Dartmouth. A PR (by 13 seconds to boot). At Moore State.
3)...
4) Wow.
5) I detonated so hard in this race. Basically, with about 1 and a half to go, I watched Kyle shoot by me and I promptly disintegrated. I managed to recover by one-half mile to go, but it was too late to get top ten.
6) I started this race much harder than I could hold. That was one part trying for top ten, and one part knowing that this could be very slow.
7) And so began the travails of Scott. Lost his glasses once, shoes untied twice. We kept leapfrogging near the end. He toasted me with a lovely kick.
8) This race was weird in that I PRed and felt like I had a poor race. The tricky business of placing...
