Notes

First mile I've raced since last year's B-Term indoor meet. This one went fairly well, but I feel like I still had enough to go harder in my legs. That's a bit disappointing to me, because it means I should have run my seed time. That said, an 8-second PR, but as a counterpoint, I've only raced two, so...

1) We started very slowly, as in a 38. We started the 5K faster than that.

2) I should have gone with the guy who I was behind at about 600 in (or whenever he made his move). I waited too long to pass Goodman and that slowed me down a bit.

3) Totally was not prepared for how fast that race felt. Not in pace, but in sheer duration, that race felt super short.

4) I need to work on long kicks in indoor. That half-lap kick works in outdoor, but that needs to be a full lap in indoor and I haven't quite gotten the hang of it yet.

5) I psyched myself out about the double and ran very conservatively when I should have spent a bit more here and then recovered a bit better.
