Yep - felt pretty good once I actually got rolling. It definitely took a bit though. Counterpoint - 6:19 average for 7 miles, which is spicy.
Okay, doing more research, I'm way over-running something like this. It's useful, but "T" pace is something like 15-30 minutes of repeat, not... 45. For something like 45 minutes of tempo, that's "M" pace (or 6:40ish). Assuming I want to keep using VDOT as the estimator. I thought it seemed weird... Either way, that's interesting and now makes me very curious since today was hard, but not absolutely crushing. It is the first workout in a while though, so I had pretty fresh legs, which does feel important.
