Overall a really good long run. Extra rest day really made a big difference. There is still a little soreness in my right "sit bone" on direct pressure and full stretch, but it was non-issue while running as I did not feel any soreness or tightness in the right glute area during any of today's 14 miles. The first 10 miles were very steady and consistent, but by mile 11 the humidity and temps had increased quite a bit & my legs started feeling heavy during miles 11 & 12, although I was able to push through those miles, maintaining the same effort & pace. Could not say the same about mile 13 as my legs started feeling very tired and heavy and by the time I hit the end of mile 14, my calves were starting to cramp a bit. So I played it really safe and cut the run short at 14 miles.
