Notes
A very slow, controlled, consistent and easy run. Pretty comparable to last Saturday's run although in better weather conditions. I felt stronger the entire distance than the mile pace times would indicate. My regular running partner is running the Fort2Base tomorrow so she biked the entire 18 miles while I ran. Running accompanied by someone biking was an interesting experiment. In the first four miles, I thought I was running a bit faster than I actually & probably more focussed on the conversation than on how fast I was going. I did pick up the pace/effort slightly starting in mile 5 & held that pretty much through the end of the run. I did slow down slightly over the final three miles as my legs were feeling more fatigued than earlier, but even in those 3 miles there was no real drop off in effort.
