10th woman, 3rd masters.
1st race in 3 months...first one since fucking PF, though still running with wrapped foot and no racing flats (if anyone cares).
Not a stellar time, but good enough at this point. Moderately hard course and a million huffy joggers flailing like rabid geese in the first mile. Felt pretty good all the way through. Went out too fast, but still think this is the best strategy (for me) for a 5k.
Winning woman was 40 and ran a 17:15. Jesus Chrst. Who expects elite-level talent at the fucking Hoover run?
