North on the AT up to the fire tower. Stunning views and colors. Had to stop for 25 minutes to wait for bear to get off the trail...He could not have cared less about us, but we were stressed because he was, well, a BEAR. Saw 4 more bears on the way back down the mountain...one huge one hanging in a tree over our heads. Cripes!!. Feet were shot. Need new hiking boots.
