Notes

First I was tired and crunchy, so I ran slowly and then I felt a little better so I ran a little faster and then I thought I oughter crank out some MP miles, so I did, but they may or may not have been exactly at 8:03 and it may or may not have been 3-4 miles, and then I felt tired so I slowed down for a while and then I thought 'hey it's springtime!' so I picked it back up for a while and never did look at my watch so don't know how long, though it felt like for the time I did run, it may have (or not) been around marathon pace, and then I got tired again, so I slowed down, and then, in a surprise even to me, I decided to hop on the trails instead which, naturally, slowed me down, but then I picked it up because there were birds and deer and even a snake (YIKES) and then I was back on the road and then I really slowed down and then slowed down more and then I stopped.

I don't think this falls into the Jack Daniels or the Jackass Spaniels training formula. But there you have it.
