Holy condors! Took the steep switchbacks up to Angels Landing and then lost all the huffing puffing tourists on the 2 miles up to the east ridge. View of the entire fricking world. Halfway up, 3 gargantuan California condors swooped right over our heads...We could feel the vibrations before we saw them. Actually felt the wind from their 10-foot wingspan. That gave me chills, even in 90-degree desert heat.
