Ran with Cheryl at fast tempo pace to do our part to help bring in the win for Classic Divas (um...). Cold wind and driving rain, but great workout anyway. Sprinted the last tenth to beat the masters bitch who totally cut me off at mile 3 in a Look At Me Passing You!! kind of way. Ended up beating her by 4 seconds to take 2nd masters...Cheryl won first, beating me by ONE SECOND.
Bitch.
Almost exactly even splits. There were some scattered grumblings at the finish about the course being long. HAHAHA!!! I seriously cannot remember the last time I ran a 5k that wasn't accused of being long. Anyway, won some socks and the team won a massive gaudy trophy.
This was a good morning.
