Notes
The weather felt great. Some guys in a motorized cart were working on the pier and were heading to the next boat so threw in a surge to catch them and made a quick joke about racing. Then I heard the boat horn from someone waiting for the drawbridge so I kicked it up a notch to speed over the bridge with all the bells going off. A little nervous the bridge would start going up but the engineer must have spotted me because he waited to put down the far cross thing until I was passed. All this within the first mile.
