Miserable conditions and I made the mistake of running with the wind to my back for the first two miles. Temps were fine and I felt over-dressed with the wind to my back (pants, jacket, gloves but no hat). Never felt comfortable and was dreading the return trip so that probably resulted in a quicker than normal pace. Running south along the beach was brutal with the wind/sleet/snow/rain pelting my face.
