Ran 3 miles on the trail this morning without Copper. I wanted to see if running with him was impacting my pace much. It is also worth noting that I got a lot of extra rest because of conflicts in schedules and visitors. My splits were 11:31, 11:25, and 10:56. So in the end I beat my previous 3 mile best by about 1:30 and in doing so broke 11 minutes for a mile! While that was fun, I really like running with Copper and need to figure out how to get him over that first mile hurdle of lagging behind. :)
