Notes
Started out as a group run and several picked up pace on mile 2. I needed a 6 miler at 7:47 pace for my planned tempo run, so I bumped it up a bit on mile 3 and 4. At mile 5 I pushed more and unfortunately left the group (I hope they don't think I was stuck up!). The rain and wind made it rather miserable to be outside, but I definately prefer this to hot and humid. Running up the dump road was tough as the rain and wind were intense. The big hill after the dump was (and always is) tough and steep, but it felt good cranking up it. At that point I saw Cremer back and gaining, so of course I kept up the pushing the last 2 miles. Thankfully all parts seem ok with the effort given that I did a 20 on Sunday. No run tomorrow, and speed work on Thursday morning. Plan to run Mary's Walk :) this Sunday with Jane and will forego half marathon.
