Planned intervals - supposed to be 5x1K but just didn't feel like driving back to town and hitting the track or treadmill so I did 5x800+ on Bernice - slight grade and wind in face for return 400. 400 RI, with about 10 minute warm up and 14 minute cool down. I gotta admit this was tougher than on the dreadmill. Tried new running shoes - NB 1064... had a bit of bunion pain at first, then it disappeared. Not sure if I will use these for race. Left foot felt like it was slapping. Had a bit of left hammie and PF pain on some of the intervals. Ice, rest and a beer.
