Ok so tried an experiment today...two new variables...one is that I rode for 40 minutes (at lunchtime) at a moderate to hard pace (11+ miles)...the second is that I immediately went out in my Hoka's (size 12) and ran a 4 mile loop with some good grades on it at a decent clip. The speed may be a third variable but I am not sure yet. No issues on the run at all though afterwards I detected a ghostly throbbing sensation in the region which is so faint I really can't be sure if its there or I am imagining it. Palpating does not offer any pain or issues so I am logging this info. Tomorrow morning I will eliminate the Hoka variable and just ride for 40 minutes prior to a 6 mile run.
