Pisgah 50k...race was good but the trail was ridiculously rooty so I was extremely cautious on the downhills. The uphills were good and strong and where possible on the flats I moved with speed. It was not worth risking ankle damage and many of the portions of the course were just all serious roots. Overall though it was a good training run and prep for VT. I had a gel every 40 minutes, half a pbj at hour 4 and 5 bottles (100 oz) of fluid. Still ended up losing 10 pounds (not sure how since it was not a hot day). I probably should have had some s-caps with me but didnt feel it was necessary due to the chilly day. I am happy with it and the body is good though knee is slightly angry.
