Notes

Another great morning at MtW. 6 x 5 mi summit loops. Took in about 50 oz of mix and 6 oz of water and coke. Ate a bagel with PB before the run and a bag of Vespa gels after loop 3. Felt strong throughout and had no issues though glutes started to tighten on last ascent. Mentally, I kicked ass too and never felt like giving up or stopping. Loop splits were 49/48/47/41/48/51. Good day.

Long on the mountain again. As I said in the e-mail, just take the day as it comes. You want to finish feeling OK, not completely fucked up. Very diligent practice on two things:

Holding your effort back early on and letting the fatigue come to you... no need to chase it, it will come.

Nutrition and hydration again. You did very well last week! Continue to make this a habit.
