Notes
This is my first morning run. It was really nice out.
I started out a bit too fast - a combination of time of day, nice weather, who knows - but I paid for it during miles 2 and 3. My pace was all over the place, but the route is a series of rolling hills. I planned on only going for 3 miles, then undershot, then overshot. My legs felt pretty good throughout, but I was breathing a bit harder than I would have liked. I didn't have much pain at the arch of my foot, but more towards the pad and top of my foot. I think that's residual pain from Saturday's run.
I met my goal of running 3 miles in 30 min or less by December. I will try to start out slower next time. I think my pace could be a few seconds faster and the run much more enjoyable if I aim for 9:45-10 for the first mile.
