The ground seemed pretty clear today and I was in a better mood, so I tried some tempo intervals: mile warm up, (6 minutes moderate+2 minutes recovery) x 3, cool down. I thought that a 9 minute mile was a reasonable goal.
The second set seemed pretty hard. I had a slow interval and recovery, which then helped me go faster for the last interval. I think I should try to do my first interval a bit slower. I think 8:30-8:45 minute miles might be a good goal for next time. That would put me around 0.69-0.71 miles for each interval.
