Notes

Decided to start with a bit of a run on the Woodway as my hip was feeling better this morning, very little tightness. Glute is still pretty tight which I can feel immediately upon getting out of bed. Was able to open hip up a bit more when walking but it was obvious it still didn't like the impact of running as the foot lands in an extended position. Did 3 sets of 10 minutes with 2 minute rests, was able to work my way up to 6.8 for a couple of minutes in the last set. Felt a little more balanced than 2 days ago and there was less pain although the discomfort was there from the first step. Didn't really get worse by the end and felt better after the run than it did 2 days ago. This evening there is quite a bit of tightness, will see how it responds tomorrow.

Followed the treadmill with 30 minutes on stairclimber downstairs. Did 156 floors peaking at level 15 for a minute. Was able to do the first 100 floors up to level 13 without hands as this climber has a deeper step and better screen placement than the one upstairs, definitely much easier to use. Was able to get my heart rate pretty high (180) without blowing out my quads. Not sure how the levels and steps/floors per minute correlate with the one upstairs.

Did 30 minutes of elliptical after stairclimber, mostly kept it easy at 5/5 and 6/6 doing 2.87 miles.

Finished the week with 5:10 of cardio.
