Really good run today, started out pretty relaxed with a slightly higher cadence. Took a GU before I left so maybe this helped. Settled into a pace around 4:50 pretty quickly although without looking at my watch I had no idea it was this brisk. Left shin was better and right hip was slightly better. Started aching around 3k and never went away but it didn't really get worse either. After water breaks it would feel ok for a few minutes before starting to act up. Was surprised at the end of the run to see how fast it was as I thought it was closer to 5:00 pace. Temperature wasn't horrible but dew point was around 18. Some wind helped to keep me cool on the way home. Muscles do feel quite sore after, hopefully they will recover ok.
